The boat is powered by a Hamilton Marine Jet and Yanmar diesel engine with only 450 working hours. Unfortunately, just prior to COVID, sand caused damage to the actual jet and the boat right now is in need of repair.
The boat used to operate 4 times a day normally, but in peak season 6 times a day, 6 days a week with each ride lasting around 20 minutes and for up to 12 passengers and 2 crew members. Ticketing was done direct or through agencies and was typically THB 1,800 per person per ride. Due to the speed of the boat, customers were not allowed to take cameras or phones onboard, so the company made their own videos of each ride and up-sold these to customers.
